1     What is the Setia Privilege Program?
  Setia Privilege Program (SPP) is an incentive and loyalty program that rewards buyers who purchase additional participating Setia Properties and rewards introducers who successfully recommend participating Setia Properties to new buyers. The reward comes in the form of a rebate. The program is in recognition of our customers’ support and loyalty throughout the years.
   
2 Who is eligible to become a member?
 
Individuals and companies who have purchased a property directly from participating S P Setia projects are entitled to become an SPP member.
For joint-buyers: Each co-buyer is entitled to membership.
For corporate buyers: All company directors are entitled to membership. However, only one (1) name can be nominated to enjoy the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) and the nominee must be a company director. S P Setia reserves the absolute right to request for the latest Form 24, Form 49 and any other supporting documents for verification.
Membership is free.
   
3 Is SPP membership allowed for owners who bought Setia properties through a sub-sale transaction (ie. purchased from a private owner, not from S P Setia) ?
  Yes. Any sub-sale buyer of Setia Property in the participating projects is also eligible to become a member of the Setia Privilege Program (SPP), upon application at the relevant sales office. The application requires the submission of documents such as a copy of your NRIC and duly stamped Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA) . The membership entitles you to take part in the Introducer Reward Points (IRP) when introducing non-SPP member buyers to participating S P Setia projects. However, do note that the value of the sub-sale purchase cannot be included in your accumulation of property value for the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR).
   
4 How do I apply to become an SPP member?
  No application is necessary if you have bought a participating Setia Property directly from S P Setia. S P Setia will automatically issue and send an SPP card to every qualified purchaser. However, if you have bought a Setia Property from an existing owner, you will need to submit an application for membership.
   
5 What are the benefits of being a Setia Privilege Program member?
 
You can enjoy Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) that effectively give you rebate of up to a maximum of 2.5% on your next and every subsequent property purchase from participating S P Setia projects.
You can receive Introducer Reward Points (IRP) worth 1% of the net purchase price when you introduce non-SPP member buyers to purchase property from participating S P Setia projects within Malaysia.
   
6 How do I enjoy the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) or Introducer Reward Points (IRP)?
  The Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) will be given when you purchase your next participating Setia Property directly from S P Setia. The rebate percentage is based on the accumulated net value of your previous Setia properties, purchased directly from participating S P Setia projects and excludes any current purchases. In addition, the value of any previous joint purchases of participating Setia Property will be divided equally among the names stipulated in the SPA, and your share will be added to your personal accumulated value to determine the rebate percentage.

The table below shows the tiered system that determines the LCR percentage:-

While the LCR percentage is determined by your previous purchases, the Ringgit value of the rebate is calculated based on the net purchase price of your current property transaction which must be a direct purchase from a participating Setia Property project.

Case scenario:
Mr X owns Property #1 with net value of RM1.2 million
-> LCR entitlement is 1.5%

Mr X wants to buy Property #2 with net value of RM800,000
-> Rebate amount is 1.5% of RM800,000

Later on, if Mr X decides to buy Property #3 with net value of RM1 million, his accumulated net value from previous properties is RM1.2 million + RM800,000 = RM2 million
-> His next LCR entitlement is 2%
-> Mr X’s rebate on Property #3 is 2% of RM1 million (his current property purchase)

Meanwhile, the 1% Introducer Reward Points (IRP) applies only to SPP members and will be given after you have successfully introduced a non-SPP member to purchase a property from participating S P Setia projects. The 1% reward is based on the net purchase price of the first property that is being purchased by the non-SPP member and this property must be that buyer's first Setia Property to be purchased directly from S P Setia. The IRP will be credited into your SPP member account in the form of reward points once 10% of the net purchase price has been collected from the buyer.

The IRP can be accumulated and subsequently can only be utilized as rebate on subsequent purchase of any new participating Setia Properties to offset the purchase price at a conversion of 1 RP = RM1. The IRP will expire three (3) years from the date of the SPA which resulted from the relevant referral.

The LCR and IRP may be combined and used together as part of a future down payment for a subsequent purchase. The total rebate amount can only be up to 10% of the current net purchase price per transaction.
   
7 I have bought Setia Properties under my own name and also under the name of my company. How do you determine the value of my purchases?
  For property purchased under your company’s name, you MUST be the nominated director in order for that property to be included when we combine the value of all your purchases under your SPP member account. If you are not the company’s nominee, the purchase cannot be allocated to your name.
   
8 I wish to make a joint purchase and each co-buyer has individually bought properties previously from S P Setia. Can we combine the value of our properties to determine the rebate for our future joint purchase?
  No.

As existing buyers, each of you has been given individual accounts. The rebate for the joint purchase would be determined by the individual account with the highest accumulated value of property.
   
9 How is the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) given on my next purchase of a Setia Property?
 
Firstly, you must present your valid SPP Card at the time of purchase to qualify for the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR).
You must be named as the purchaser in the SPA.
The property must belong to a participating project(s) of S P Setia within Malaysia.

The LCR will be given in the form of a credit note to offset up to 10% of the net purchase price after deducting any applicable promotional discount. The rebate cannot be converted into cash

For Bumiputra SPP members, the LCR is based on the net price after the Bumiputra discount and any other valid promotional discounts.

   
10 I am an SPP member as a corporate nominee and I intend to buy a property from S P Setia as an individual under my own name. Will I be entitled to the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR)?
  Yes, provided your name is in the SPA and you are buying directly from participating S P Setia projects.
   
11 I am an existing SPP member and I intend to purchase a property from S P Setia under my company’s name. How do I get the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) for my corporate purchase by using my individual membership?
  To enjoy the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) on your corporate purchase using your individual membership, you must be the nominated company director. S P Setia reserves the absolute right to request for the latest Form 24, Form 49 and any other supporting documents for verification.
   
12 I have introduced a friend to purchase property from participating S P Setia projects. When can I receive the Introducer Reward Points (IRP)?
  First, you must accompany and personally introduce the non-SPP member buyer to any S P Setia sales personnel. At the same time, present your valid SPP card and quote your name and NRIC number.

This buyer must not be an existing member of Setia Privilege Program (SPP) and they must not have approached S P Setia directly with the intention to purchase a Setia Property before your introduction.

After the non-SPP member buyer has executed the SPA and has paid at least 10% of the net purchase price, S P Setia will credit Introducer Reward Points (IRP) into your SPP account. The reward points can be used as a rebate, amounting up to 10% on your next net purchase price.
   
13 I am an SPP member as a corporate nominee and I have introduced a friend to purchase a property from participating S P Setia projects. Will the Introducer Reward Points (IRP) be given to the company or to me personally as the Introducer?
  S P Setia will credit the Introducer Reward Points (IRP) into your personal SPP account on the condition that you had presented your valid SPP card, quoted your name and NRIC number, and introduced the non-SPP member buyer personally to S P Setia sales personnel. The points will be credited once the SPA has been successfully signed and 10% of the net purchase price has been collected from the buyer.
   
14 I would like to introduce a non-member to buy a property from participating S P Setia projects. Is that buyer eligible for SPP membership and the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR)?
  Non-SPP members who buy a participating property from S P Setia via an Introducer are automatically eligible for SPP membership once they have executed the SPA and paid at least 10% of the net purchase price. However, they are not entitled to the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) until they make a second purchase from participating S P Setia projects.
   
15 Can I combine the Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) and Introducer Reward Points (IRP) for my next purchase of participating Setia Properties?
  Yes.

You are allowed to combine both your Loyal Customer Rebate (LCR) and Introducer Reward Points (IRP) to purchase your next participating Setia Properties either as an individual or in a joint purchase with other non-SPP Members, provided your name is stipulated in the SPA.

If you wish to combine your LCR with IRP belonging to other SPP Members, then your name and the names of the respective SPP Members must be stipulated in the SPA. Otherwise, you must first obtain an authorized transfer from the respective SPP Member which requires that person to fill in and submit the IRP Authorised Transfer Form (IRPATF) with a copy of his/her NRIC.

Please note that the total rebate for all the above scenarios must not exceed 10% of the current net purchase price.
   
16 Is membership transferable, for example, to an immediate family member?
  The SPP membership is non-transferable, not even to immediate family members. Privileges are only accorded to SPP members.
   
17 Can I transfer my points to another SPP Member?
  Yes, Introducer Reward Points (IRP) can be transferred to other SPP members. As owner of the IRP, you need to authorise the transfer by filling in and submitting the IRP Authorised Transfer Form (IRPATF) with a copy of your NRIC. However, the transferred points must be redeemed immediately and only for a rebate on the purchase of participating Setia Properties.
   
18 Is there an expiry date on the reward points?
  The reward points accumulated via the Introducer Reward Points (IRP) are valid for three (3) years from the date of the SPA along with the complete payment of 10% of the net purchase price, or up to the termination of the program, whichever is earlier. Points gained via a transfer shall be subject to their original expiry date and must be used immediately as a rebate on the purchase of participating Setia Properties. Any unused and/or expired RP are strictly not allowed to be reinstated. Any requests for such reinstatement will not be entertained.
   
19 In the event that the SPP Card posted to me is lost, stolen or damaged, can I request for a replacement?
  Yes.

You can email privilege@spsetia.com.my with your NRIC number and full name quoted to request for a one-time replacement card at no charge. Alternatively, you can visit any of our Privilege Branches and fill in the Card Replacement Form.

You will be informed once the replacement card is ready for collection at you nearest / respective Privilege Branch.

S P Setia reserves the right to impose a minimal charge for subsequent replacement thereafter.
   
20 How do I obtain the serial number to log into the SPP website?
  To obtain the serial number, you may:
-  Refer to the back of your Setia Privilege Card, or
-  Email privilege@spsetia.com.my, or
-  Contact the Privilege Branch nearest to you

Please quote your NRIC / Passport / Company Registration no. & name (as per NRIC) in all correspondence.
Possible Late Delivery of Gift Redemption

Dear Valued SPP Members,

Thank you for your loyal support.

As you are aware that SPP Gift Redemption has officially ended on 30/6/2013, we are pleased to informed that we have received overwhelming responses from all of you.

In view of that, there may be possibilities of gift delivery delay due to the swamps of gift redemption orders and/or low supply of goods from suppliers during this period of time. However, rest assured that this delay is only temporary and your gift(s) shall reach you separately no later by end of August 2013 (except custom made furniture that require additional production timeline and any other exceptional delay conveyed to you directly by our suppliers, which has mutually agreed by you).
